The Mood Swings are a female-fronted fuzzpop band from Minneapolis. Formed in 2004 by guitarists/singers Ashley Ackerson and Sallie Watson, bassist Ed Ackerson and drummer Mike Reiter joined the band to complete the line-up. Citing influences from Motörhead to Letters to Cleo, the band writes "sharp, catchy tunes with a hard garage edge and a bit of psychedelic mayhem thrown in." They have recently released an EP on the Susstones label which can be downloaded for free. A full-length will follow in early '09.
