Formed in East London by Stu and Alex, The Monotremes play a traditionally English mixture of speedy guitar-based noisy indie pop music spiced with maudlin lyrics tinged with a healthy dose of melancholy. The Monotremes play regularly in the London live circuit and have recently been spreading their wings to the Home Counties. We like our name and yes… we do know what it means.
