There are at least two different bands called The Mocks. 1. The Mocks are a contemporary mod / (freak)beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, who released their first single ('My Girl' b/w 'Why') on Spain's mighty Bickerton Records in 2020. More singles followed on various labels. 2024 saw the release of their début full-length, Do You Want Me Too?. 2. The Mocks are a duet formed by Ela and Mario who are originally from Mexico/Spain but are now based in London, United Kingdom. Back in Monterrey, Mexico, they were very famous and won many awards and good reviews and after several paparazzi attacks they decided it was too much so they ran away from fame to one of the calmest, quietest cities in the world: London. Instrumentation: Computers, synths, soft synths, vocals, processors, and fizzy drinks, lots and lots of fizzy drinks.
