The Mock-Ups consists of Gerard Way (known primarily as the lead singer for American rock band My Chemical Romance) on vocals and bass, along with Michael Schultz (head of Signature Artists at Fender as of September 2025) on guitar, and three members of The Interrupters: Kevin Bivona on keys/production, Jesse Bivona on drums, and Aimee Allen on backing vocals. Their first song/single, "I Wanna Know Your Name," released on September 16th, 2025, and was engineered by the long-time My Chemical Romance engineer Doug McKean, who died in 2022.
