The Mo-Man was born in Chicago and proudly called it home for close to a decade, the South is where he has invested most of my time, heart and career. Spoken Word has been his passion poetry having written and performed for decades giving it his constant dedication. To him, Spoken Word has been and still is concentrated, mood altering, intense and life changing. While he came up in the chaotic word combat of poetry slam and it provided a thrilling and captivating atmosphere, it was not the whole of Spoken Word for him. The Mo-man understood the power of words and strove to not only share them with his community and peers but also to helped to shape and build something lasting. As the founder and president of Poets in the Streets, he took an active part in improving literacy throughout Arkansas and surrounding states, bringing an innovative, engaging, and inclusive perspective to the culture at large.
