Artist
The Missing Shade Of Purple was formed by identicle triplets from London. MSOP experiment with genres ranging from layered electronica to folk to hip hop. The track 'Lost Symphony' combines a Mozart sample with a fast drum beat. MSOP are also very experimental with lyrics, which are oftern adapted from poetry and carry a wider subtle significance beyond the evident meaning of each song. The name 'Missing Shade Of Purple' is a reference to David Hume's theory of the missing shade of blue. Purple however is thought to represent the exciting, sexual nature of the artists's music and the idea that MSOP was the missing piece in the music industry jigsaw but also that their music can be extrapolated from other artists and writers. www.myspace.com/themissingshadeofpurple User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
