The Mire was a progressive post-metal band that formed in 2009 from Brighton, UK originally featuring members of celebrated UK underground acts Centurion and Bossk. The band broke up in late 2015. The Mire released their final EP, 'Vice Regalia', on November 13, 2015 digitally through bandcamp. On February 2nd 2014 The Mire released their first full-length album 'Glass Cathedrals' digitally via bandcamp. The Mire's self produced CD/EP, 'Volume: II' was released by Eyesofsound on December 13th 2010 through iTunes. In 2011 they released a 10" vinyl split with Chronos via Dog Knights Productions.
