There are several bands called the Minx. One of them is a five-piece band band from Wythenshawe in Manchester, UK. The band were formed in 2011 and their songs are reminiscent of fellow Mancunians The Buzzcocks & pop-punk band The Undertones. They have released a single and an EP on Queen Street Records, No Friends and Hey! Mr Warden - and have a third single, Can You Find My Head? scheduled for late 2013. http://www.theminx.co.uk/ Another band under the name The MinX is a swiss located rock-grunge-punk band, consisting of five members from Berne and sourroundings. The band exists since 2006 and they're working at the moment on their own tracks. so far there is no album out, but from time to time they play concerts in different places in Switzerland like "Gaskessel" in Berne or the old "KUFA" in Lyss. The music of The MinX is obviously inspired by The Misfits, Nirvana, The richmond sluts and The Ramones with fast drumsets and distorted guitars. There are also some slow tracks in their portfolio. http://www.theminx.ch http://www.mx3.ch/artist/theminx Another band called The Minx predated the two listed above, forming in 1982 in New York City and releasing one full length LP, titled Real Minx, in 1983 on Ashland Records. They played with a DIY New Wave sound and featured two female lead singers, Elena Sciaky (later known as Elena Skye) who also played bass, and Caren Loebel, who also played guitar. Drummer Neil Fried and keyboardist David Cogswell rounded out the band
