about

Back in the '80s, after having chewed (and digested) Post Punk and New Wave, The Mind were playing approximately since 1980 to 1984. Five guys in the province of Imperia playing in the classic underground room. Night after night, a note after the other, songs were born skinny and dry, just like their style, intentionally understatement. Black and white, a few chords and a lot of energy. In those years it was the scope of breathing social living: playing was pure freedom and you could do it with less problems. There was no Internet or the technology that we know in the present day: everything was truly played and sung. The voice, deep and warm, gives emotions nowadays lost. The EP is a taste of four tracks ff what The Mind were. The recordings are live in the studio, without processing or rearrangements. rumorsrecords.altervista.org User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
