The Mill started out in 2003 as a schoolproject at RML, Stockholm. Tina Widebäck wanted to see how, and if, her music would grow in a band so she asked 4 of her classmembers if they where interested in playing with her. The project was a success and the band continued on playing music togheter. First the band name was Milfoil, but after noticing that people in Sweden had a hard time pronouncing the name, they decided to change the name before releasing their first record-album.
