The Mighty 18 Wheeler is a Denver hard rock project founded by guitarist Bobby Smith. It began as an extension project from his swing band, Jumpin' Jimes. Originally a rockabilly-oriented power trio with upright bass, Smith converted the band in 2008 to a four piece hard rock lineup for "Stimulus Package," with the addition of Brett Bertholf (Halden Wofford) on vocals. Bobby Smith plays Grosh Guitars and Gretsch Guitars, and RJS, Germino, and Marshall amplifiers. Bobby Smith was a founding member of Eternal Ryte. Brett Bertholf is a world class yodeler.
