(The) Methanol is a project founded by Finnish producer Sauli Pietikäinen back in 1995, with the famous Amiga 600 + Octamed Professional v4.0 tracker. Early Amiga releases were published in a very small underground circle of people. At 1999 Methanol's first track composed on PC, called "Kaamos" was released at ModPlug Central, being the first world wide release.
