The Marietta (formally Marietta Melodic) is a five piece pop/punk/alternative band from Flint Michigan. The Marietta’s sound can be linked to bands from Minus the Bear, Saves the Day, MAE, American Football and The Beatles. In April of this year The Marietta worked with Dave Elkins from the band MAE at his Schematic Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The first single for Weirdo’s Being Weird is online http://themarietta.bandcamp.com/. The Marietta has played with national recording artist Ryan Cabrera as well as international acts Kiros and VICTORI4 from France. The Marietta is Dennis Berger - vocals and guitar, Jason Considine – guitar and vocals, Ryan Cardneau – bass and Jimmy Sindelar - drums. The Marietta has two eps; the first one Melodic was released in 2011 and the second one Weirdo’s Being Weird was released in 2012.
