The Makeshift Heroes were ska band from Toronto active in the early 2000's .They were known for having a more horn-heavy, trad-ska sound at a time when that was uncommon among other bands. The band released two EPs: Not So Fast and Last Call. After breaking up, members went on to play in the bands Dinosaur Bones and Sound One.
