The Magic Bullet Band are a beat combo hailing from the South Coast of England. Formed in early 2005 their sound is a mixture of country/blues, psychadelic rock & roll and good old fashioned song-writing. They cite influences ranging from The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revial and The Faces to Bill Withers, Calexico, Dr John and Jimi Hendrix. Since its inception the band has recieved critical acclaim for it's honesty, energy, sing-a-long songs and high level of musicianship and togetherness. They have been described as having 'an old-fashioned band mentality, just playing, enjoying themselves and giving the audience what they want' The band decided to stay in their native Brighton to begin with, opting to play as many shows as they could. They have built up a loyal fan base and a great live sound. Following dynamite shows at Hanbury Ballrooms, Concorde 2, Joogleberry Theatre and Pressure Point they took to the road with Kula Shaker. Four sold-out/band changing gigs followed where they were met with full houses, raptuous appause and smiling happy faces.
