Artist
The Lusitania is an alt country collective from El Paso, Tx started in 2006 by brothers Blake and Michael Duncan. Inspired by writers like Jack Kerouac and Tom Wolfe their songs capture a spirit of literary Americana, with black eyed barroom ballads and whiskey tinged anthems. They released their self titled album in 2007 and are currently finishing a second album, "Rain and Rivers" , which is being produced by Jim Ward (Sparta, At the Drive In, Sleepercar). Having toured the southwest extensively playing with such acts as Mason Jennings and Drag the River, the Lusitania hope to contribute to the rich musical background of West Texas.
