"You and I should go dancing..." The Low Lights - Rich, Matt, Ben and Nat - quite literally make you want to slap your momma. And their mommas. As High School friends, Lead Singer, Nat, and Drummer, Rich, recruited Matt on Lead Guitar and Ben on Bass, and with an average age of just 19, Britain's biggest band in waiting command your attention: When it comes to growing a band, The Low Lights are as organic as you get. Their story starts with being skint. Just like a floozy they honed their craft on the city streets, busking to the masses in the centre of Cardiff, quickly building up enough pennies to record their first demo and gain more than a few fans along the way. After more changes than Michael Jackson's face, the members of the band as we know them today have been working solidly on the music to deliver the classic 5 track EP from the infamous Screamadelica Studios, which you can listen to right here on this very MySpace. Despite two of them currently doing their A-Levels and the other two finishing off other exam type things, they’ve already supported New York's 5 O’Clock Heroes, Sweden's Lorraine and the Libertine's John Hassel's band, Yeti. This all led up to their own recent headline gig in Barfly to a capacity crowd to riotous response, cementing their position as THE band to watch in 2007/8 and a number of appearances at some of the UK's biggest events await!
