The Lost Concept in musical terms finds themselves in that grey area between hard rock and metal infusing the styles they love with heavy chaotic music but still with passion and intense melodies. Hailing from the small town of Eagle River, Alaska, The Lost Concept is relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the fall of 2007. With influences ranging from Killswitch Engage to Blindside, probably the biggest influence to the band is Alaska’s 36 Crazyfists. “We have always done our own thing, but we can’t deny the influence 36 has had on us”, Zach Gall says, ”We’re really out there to make our own sound and play what we like.” The Lost Concept really is not defined under any specific sub-genre having guitar riffs and melodies that range from metal-core sounds to more progressive rock sounds. They have come to define there sound as “Ravaging Tornadoes of Destruction with a pinch of Harmonious Embers of Beauty…but mostly ravaging tornadoes of destruction”. Formed in the summer of 2004, The Lost Concept formerly hailed under the name “Faceless”. In the winter of 2007, realizing the lack for a more original name, they decided to change the band name. Like most bands they have gone through a couple member changes but have always continued to progress through the changes. “We love to write music and have always had a problem of writing to much to keep up with”, Aaron Sadler explains, “Our sound from when we started to now definitely has progressed but we really feel we have matured and have
