Touted as one of Tasmania’s hardest working live bands, The Little Cubas have been traipsing their unique sounds across the land, enchanting crowds at festivals and even playing alongside their heroes - New Jersey indie rockers Yo La Tengo, and all in under 18 months after they formed in 2009. Describing their music as ‘garage roots, driven head-on at high speed into unsuspecting indie rock n’ roll, with a twist of noise/psychedelia just for the heck of it’. Having just returned from a debut at The Falls Festival this is a two-piece to be reckoned with, their drums, guitar and gloriously shambolic hook-laden thunder are coming to get you.
