about

The Light Brigade is a four piece indie rock group based in Sydney. Mixing four part vocal harmonies, catchy pop melodies and guitar driven rock, their live shows are diverse and will keep you moving all night. The Light Brigade are Shane Murphy (vocals, guitar, keyboards, melodica), Brooke Nicks (vocals, bass guitar, percussion, glock), Scott Mullane (vocals, guitar, synthesisers, ukulele) and Richard Mullane (vocals, drums, percussion, kazoo). Since mid 2005 The Light Brigade can be found around Sydney maybe at The Hopetoun, Candy's Apartment or Spectrum supporting and headlining. Their independently released debut 5-track “(extended player)” has been described as “a statement of intent” (drum media) and is available from the website or from Red Eye Records. The Light Brigade were also an obscure garage rock band from the sixties. The Light Brigade is also the pseudonym of the garage rock band Locksley.
