The Lieutenant's Mistress are an English 4-piece indie band from Brighton, England. The band formed at the end of 2006 and feature Andrew Motley [vocals], Louis May [guitars], Matt Geary, [bass] and Box [drums]. The band has gone on to release 2 EP's: self-titled debut "The Lieutenant's Mistress" in 2007, and the recent follow up "Wired" in 2009. They also toured extensively throughout UK, including a self funded/organised tour of Northern England in 2008 as well as headlining such London venues as Dublin Castle and Waterrats. The band has also supported bands such as Frightened Rabbit, Gravenhurst and Thao with the Get Down Stay Down. In 2009 the Eardrums Pop label featured the track "The Light Is On (But You're Not Home)" on their indie music compilation called "Birdsongs Beesongs volume D".
