Leslie Spit Treeo were a Canadian folk-rock band that had four albums: Don't Cry Too Hard (1990), Book of Rejection (1992), Hell's Kitchen (1994), and Chocolate Chip Cookies (1996). They appeared in two movies. Roadkill (1989) and Dance Me Outside (1995). The band originally consisted of vocalist Laura Hubert, guitarist Pat Langner, guitarist Jack (J.D.) Nicholsen, and Tag, a dog. The band took its name from the Leslie Street Spit area of Toronto Harbour.
