The Legend of Zerno is a five-piece post-hardcore/metalcore band from Kokkola, western Finland. It was formed by vocalist Marko (at the time a bassist) and drummer Sakari in 2008. Before the band got its name they played mostly alt-rock covers. Soon they found a guitarist Riku and the band started to compose their own music which was more heavier including screaming, breakdowns, fast riffs and melodic choruses. After several member changes their current line up consists of Marko on vocals, Sakari on drums, Riku on guitar and vocals, Matias on bass and Valtteri on guitar. In summer 2011 band recorded their debut EP called Kappa Effect. Future plans include recording for the next release and playing till their fingers bleed.
