Artist
The Lancaster Orchestra is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Calle Mathson, living in Malmö, Sweden. What started out as a duo a few years back with a friend from his home town has taken many twists and turns over the years, today the Orchestra is a little bit more of a band, but with Calle as the permanent core and members fluctuating slightly from time to time. The orchestra released it second album in the fall of 2006, entitled "Never cried once when I could have", a dynamic album of both melancholic pop songs and lo-fi instrumentals, developing on the style set in the debut from 2005, "With help from absent friends".
