"The day I heard the Kyle McNeil Band was the day my life changed forever. I decided that my life was being wasted in a cubicle and that there more to life than being a corporate wage-slave whore. The KMB showed me that we can actually actualize ourselves through our art. After scrobbling Harmony Part 6 one last time, I leapt up, belted out a barbaric yawp, threw my CRT out the window, did a Norma Rae stomp on the desks, pulled my pants down, pissed on everybody and everything within a five-foot radius, then cart-wheeled down the hall to my boss's office, and took a big crap right on her desk. She wasn't there, but I'm sure she got the message. Then I went home, drank a whole bottle of Robitussin, and wrote my first song: "The Ballad of Kyle McNeil."
