The Kunts is the punk band of Kunt and the Gang. They perform punk versions of songs found on his previous albums. The project was founded via a Kickstarter campaign where Kunt promised to record a punk album to give away free to supporters who donated money for him to write and publish his memoirs. The book - I, Kunt - was published in late 2018 and, after much delays, the resulting punk album Kunts Punk in Your Face was finally released in Summer 2020. Following a social media campaign, the album track Boris Johnson is a Fucking Cunt became a serious contender for the British Christmas Number 1 in 2020, and actually charted at #5. The track started life as the Kunt and the Gang track If You Don't Like This Song You're A Fucking Cunt.
