The Killing Spree was a Belfast based hardcore three piece. It consisted of Michael MacBroom (guitars and screams), Ricki O'Rawe (bass and screams), and Bernard Keenan (drums and screams). Their original set list was a clear mish/mash of their various influences, most notably Slint and The Jesus Lizard. They soon developed their own sound which was often described as angular, the music going in various tangents as if it were a stream of consciousness. The band split in 2005, after releasing a three song cd and a 7", to pursue new musical ventures. Bernard went to on to drum for We Are Knives. Michael and Ricki went on to form Gaju.
