Composer Ken Myers hails from the rock and roll Hall Of Fame city of Cleveland,Ohio, and from this rocker town emerges as only one of a few artists who delve into the genre known as 'ambient'. Having released four compilation albums in his series of 'music for film' pieces, licensed four pieces of his works for independent films, and received extensive airplay, Mr. Myers continues to produce music that highlights his 'personal touch' to this genre, which is overflowing with new hopefuls. Heavily influenced by pioneer German electronic music artists (such as Klaus Schulze) and film music icons Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat, and many others,Myers' music has been described as peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful in it's simplicity. His personal touch, going beyond ambient drones and adding a sensitive thematic approach has proven to be his trademark.
