After one Single on Irish collectors 7" label Earsugar, Berlin´s Innits come up with their debut on Hamburg´s Sunday Service label. Singing drummer Mek Obaam, who also played in Schneider TM and with Barabara Morgenstern, Die Türen and The BNBC guitarist Krik Kretz, guitarist Vincenzo Perrotta and bassman Jannes Wurps deliver an album of 11 excellent pop gems. Imagine The Violent Femmes play 60s Pop and add some Dylan, Smiths with Velvet Undergrounds instruments. With the great harmonic vocal arrangements and the rough production by Christopher Uhe, the album is a great lifelike symbiosis between rough and gentle.
