The Infrared Experience is a GUITAR ONLY project/band. ALL sounds on all songs (with exception of rare guest appearances) are recorded with guitars and a couple of guitar effect devices. The musical direction is some kind of unique mix of guitar post rock to contemporary music to ambient & dark ambient guitar soundscapes. Some songs appear like experimental sound sculptures while others offer a deep melancholic feeling ; some songs are post rock tunes, while others are just nice melodic tracks and some songs are just "floating". Each album offers a wide variety but for some reason the differences fit together to a unique whole. "A meditation" stood once on their MySpace page. Informations about group member(s), origin or other projects/bands are kept in the dark.
