The Id and the Kid formed in 2009 at Capital University in Bexley, Ohio. The band is a two man group Cameron Girard, from Chelsea, Michigan, and Josh Beaudoin, from Luckey, Ohio. Both members of the band play guitar and sing. Some of the band's sound can be attributed to Cameron's band called "Dr. Dwayne And The Bad Boys From Spain", but most of the songs that the band plays for its live shows are originals by the newly formed band. As of today the band has recorded to demo CD's at Capital University's Conservatory studios. The first CD titled "Psycho...Analysis" has six tracks. The newest demo CD titled "Sibling Rivalry" is a short 4 track sketch of the band's' new material before it takes a break in the summer of 2010. The band's name was picked by Josh who was interested in Sigmund Freud. The two demo CD's are also named after terms coined by Sigmund Freud.
