The Horizon of a Dream is the band name of solo musician Chris Romans. It was created in 2009 in his home in Easton, PA. All of the music currently produced has been recorded in his home studio. After much maturity, depression, and song writing; his latest album "Surrealistic Suicide" was released in February 2012. Major influences for this project include philosophy, psychology, cosmology, quantum mechanics, love, the death of his sister, atheism, and similar themes. Musically, The Horizon of a Dream draws from an eclectic variety of musical genres; including but not limited too: post-rock, electronica, folk, and similar. These genres come together into what he describes as "post-life" music which places much more emphasis on theme as opposed to simple genres focused more so on tonal aspects of music.
