The Histronic

The Histronic is a brand new three-piece electronic dance band that specializes in live house, trance, and electronics. How it came to be: In mid-January of 2007, three high school friends reunited for a jam session. All three had spent the past four years attending music schools far from each other. The drummer, Matt Mantle, was in West Virginia; the keyboardist, Dorsey, was in Colorado; and the bass player, Bill Finn, was in Minnesota. After graduating in the spring of '06, Mantle and Dorsey both made the decision to move back to the great state of Minnesota. At this point, all three members were committed to different projects, but there was talk of a possible side project. A few months passed and finally a jam session took place that would change everyone. On that brisk winter night in January, nestled in a suburban Minnesota basement, a band was formed. The Histronic.
