The Hijacks are a ska band from Aberdeen formed in 2007 when The Upstarts decided to take a break and play fewer shows. 3 out of the 4 members of The Upstarts formed The Hijacks. They have released 2 EPs, free.your.mind in December 2007 and Consuming Our Passion in the July of 2009. The band play shows as often as possible and usually try to fit in 2 tours a year if possible. They've supported some big name bands in their hometown and other parts of Scotland. They've been tour support for The Living Daylights which has made them great friends. They like to play as many shows as they can with Manchester ska outfit The Fractions.
