The High Trees: an authorized biography. The High Trees is an indie rock band formed in mid 2006, initially took the name Le Mat, in honor of the first card of the Tarot of Marseilles, they interpreted versions of its different influences (Radiohead, Elvis Presley, Pixies, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, etc). The name was abandoned by the law of synchronicity, because there was another band with the same name on the national scene Then, seeking a new name comes the name The High Trees, inspired by the movie "Control" by Joy Division. The name evokes the tree as a superior being, while the image of the beings that rise above the madding crowd and look over the forest. Its members are: Alexis Rojo: Vocals, rhythm guitar and arrangements. Diego Rojo: Bass guitar and arrangements. José Luis Lagno: drums and rhythmic basis.
