Artist
The Hi-Numbers were a short-lived beat group from Hatfield, United Kingdom, briefly active in 1965. They were Alan Shacklock (guitar), John (bass) and Brian (drums) Glascock and Brian Redmond (vocals). They became The Favourite Sons after hooking up with producer Mike Hurst. The A-side of their only single, 'Heart Of Stone', was written by someone called Ted White. The band's name is sometimes spelled The Hi Numbers, but the spelling with a dash is on the Decca record label of their only single.
