There are at least two bands called The Heroes: 1) The Heroes were an English rock band formed in 1979 with Chris Bradford and Mark Hankins on guitar and vocals. The line-up was completed by Pete Lennon (lead guitar), Dave Powell (drums) and ex-Randy band member Brian (Wally) Wallis on bass guitar. Although primarily an intake group, they led with Dr. Feelgood toured Germany and played the Olympianhalle in Munich and the Top Ten Club in Hamburg. The five pieces played rock and roll and recorded an album of ten songs written by Bradford: Border Raiders in 1980 and a single "Some Kind of Women" b / w "10% Will Do", all on the Polydor Labels have been published. Members Chris Bradford - guitar, lead vocals Mark Hankins - guitar, vocals Pete Lennon - lead guitar Dave Powell - drums Brian (Wally) Wallis - bass guitar 2) The Heroes are an Indie/Mod/Punk band formed in Leicester during April 07. They have had a number of member changes, but found the right line up in August 09. Their main influences are The Libertines, The Jam and The Clash, but there are elements and influences from much more. In 2008 The Heroes opened the Mainstage of the Summer Sundae Weekender 2008, built a fanbase and created the clubnight 'OVERDRIVE' which has proven to be one of the biggest clubnights the midlands have to offer. The band have also played gigs across the country in Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and London in venues such as the IndigO2 and the Birmingham Carling Academy. In 2009,
