The Heartland were a 5-piece mathcore band from Lancaster, Ohio. The Heartland has released a demo, two EP's and two full length albums. Their third album, Frontier, is currently unreleased, but has leaked online. The Heartland were signed to Creep Records. The Heartland disbanded in August 2009, citing financial and mental exhaustion.
