Combining elements from several different genres, such as post-hardcore, melodic hardcore and metalcore, The Harlequin State hopes to express and relate to you the emotions they feel when they write and perform. Happiness. Joy. Frustration. Music is an outlet for the mind and soul. Formed in mid 2010, The Harlequin State was deteremined to make it in this music industry since day one. They made a huge impression on the local music scene after the first year of being a part of it, and had thence become very active members in it. Having fun, making friends and hanging out at shows. The Harlequin State has been given the opportunity to do what they love, and the fact that others can appreciate and enjoy what they're doing makes everything that much sweeter. They wish to better themselves constantly, not only in their music, but as people, and hope they can make just as much of an impact with their music as with their personalities.
