The Groodies are a four piece, all female punk band from Chicago, Illinois. In 2003 they released their self-titled, seven song EP. At that time the members were Meghan-lead guitar/vox, Dorothy-drums, Yvonne-bass/vox and Karen-guitar/vox. They recorded a second EP of five songs called "hands off". A change in the band's composition happened when Susan replaced Dorothy on drums and Alex became the new bass while taking over for Karen.
