There are several artists called The Green Man. 1. The Green Man is the name of an Italian Neofolk band signed under the italian division of Albin Julius' Hau Ruck. Combining middle eastern sounds to western esoteric tradition, the band provides a unique blend of folk, neofolk and prog rock sounds, dealing with diverse subjects: From Lovecraftean themes to gnostic tales, to apolayptic visions of the future. So far The Green Man have released two full length cds, the critically acclaimed "From Irem To Summerisle" and "The Teacher And The Man Of Lie" along with a 10" and various participations on compilations.
