The Goodnight Anthem, formerly known as Capitol Risk, is a pop/rock band from the Philadelphia area that is starting to generate quite a buzz. Whether it be touring the country, being featured on prominent music webzines such as Absolutepunk and The Daily Chorus, or having their songs be played on MTV shows like Next and Parental Control, the band is building an impressive resume for itself. The group has been performing for several years, but are just now realizing their full potential with a new, solidified lineup that has been in effect for nearly a year. Despite the fact that all of the band members are still all in their late teens and early twenties, The Goodnight Anthem shows a level of maturity and dedication that few can match, and it appears to finally be paying off. Look out for big things from this group in the coming months, as they will be back out on the road touring for the greater part of the summer to support their newest EP that is currently available on iTunes.
