The Good Good

The Good Good are a guitar, bass and drums trio. They have been performing since 2004 in New York, the United States and Europe, but the project has been on a hiatus since 2007. Their style is a combination of children's songs, rock and roll instruments and enough screaming to pull it all together. Their live performances are highly regarded by many who have seen them play. Much like Lightning Bolt, they insist on performing on the floor, even if a stage is available. In adition to guitar and vocal melodies they incorporate sampled sounds, megaphones, flutes and synthesizers into the mix. Their first record is titled Furrows and is released on the Menlo Park label. The Good Good display a solid nod towards indie rock through a largely experimental filter. There are 3 bandmembers: Natalja Kent (vocals, guitar keyboards, flute and other assorted instruments) David Penn (bass, sorta) and Peter Woods (drums, sorta).
