The Golden Revelry

The Golden Revelry - Leisurely woven, melodic folk-rock. The Golden Revelry is inspired by vintage artists such as The Band, Bill Fay, Tom Rush and others, and also informed as much by various indie rock bands (Pavement, Built to Spill, Bedhead, etc.). The two guitarists in the band, Ian Carpenter and Mark Wyman, alternate between acoustic and accompanying electric guitar. Also in The Golden Revelry are drummer and percussionist Michael Presta and bass and keyboard player Robin Ziari. Their sound weaves subtle and winding chord structures into a more direct, organic and folksy sound. The band just completed a 12 song album which will be available March 2007.
