The Glow, is a project founded by Simon Black and Nakia Black aka SiameseLovers in Bedstuy,Brooklyn, NY Bedstuy in the year 2006-2007. These are two kids to watch. The garage punk Netherlands label, A Fistful of Records picked them up to release a 45 September of 07. This release seems to have made a creeping impact on the underground of Europe with the energetic and youthful songs, "Anthem no. 1", "Rock n Roll" and "That Kinda Feelin" that infuse Soul, R&B and Garage Rock n Roll like only they can . The first and last of these songs were recorded in their living room from some rehearsal recordings and the other track "Rock and Roll" was recorded down the street from their brownstone in Bedstuy, at Country Club Studios. Due to the split up of their collaborating musicians, they have yet to tour and do shows to promote this release. They are set to reincarnate with a new name, new band members, new songs and some of the old ones. Sure there will be alot more to come from this duo. Sounds like this Brooklyn trio (or perhaps duet?) have never heard or at least haven’t retained any punk or rock for that matter of the last 35 years. A pristine palette – juvenile without the instrumental ineptitude. Total musical naivete in its simplicity.
