There are multiple artists that perform under the name The Glass Ocean: 1) An post-hardcore band from Atlanta, GA; and 2) A progressive band from Sydney, AU 1) The Glass Ocean was an indie/post-hardcore band that was active from 2006-2010 and formed in the humid air of Atlanta, GA. The band released their debut ep Put On the Wooden Ovecoat in 2008 and has been described as "indie, groove heavy perfection, creating a unique quality all on their own with psyched emotion in each note." The band is precise in crafting their sound, deciding not rush into immediately releasing their music to a wide audience, stating their desire not to rely on the success of their previous musical endeavors and inevitably rush their music. The band last consisted of Keller Harbin (vocals, guitar), Joshua Beiser (bass), Heath Ladnier (drums), & Justin Graham (guitar). 2) The Glass Ocean is a modern progressive band started in 2013, as a side project for vocalist Tobias Atkins and drummer Nic Petterson (Northlane).
