Artist
The Glamour hail from Milwaukee Wisconsin. In 1999, inspired by the "French Touch" scene, they began producing and djing together. Early influences ranged from Daft Punk, Le Night Club, and Dj Falcon to Dimitri From Paris, and Etinne de Crecy. As the years passed the group's musical repertoire widened and they began to acquire a more eclectic mix. As a result it began to influence their production. In 2005 the duo released "Blast" which became characteristic of their present sound. The Glamour's music, apart from their historical influences, is also deeply rooted in the Midwest dance party scene. Dirty clubs, dive bars, and sweaty house parties provided the band with a perfect place to throw their DIY style events. This scene ultimately became the subject matter for tracks like "Kidz Night" and "Respect The Party". The Glamour makes music by djs for djs. Today you will find the duo holding down weekly residencies in Milwaukee, as well as guest spots all over Chicago, and lighting up dance floors far beyond the state of Wisconsin in places like New York City, Buffalo, and Minneapolis. They have rubbed sholders and made friends with Flosstradamus, Johnny Love (Gun's N' Bombs), Krames (Cobra Snake), E6, Vyle, and Matt Roan among others. Flosstradamus, Sinden, and Klever are just a few of the djs regularly dropping the groups tracks at parties around the world. Blogs such as Big Stereo, Discobelle, and Kiss Atlanta have been spreading their music amongst the internet community. T
