The Glacial Drift is an Ecuadorian-American progressive rock group formed in 2010 by musician Xavier Alejandro Reyes Ochoa and vocalist Hilde Clark-Snustad. The Glacial Drift focuses on progressively rockin' with psychedelic latin beats to create a new musical experience. They incorporate various influences including 70's progrock, jazz fusion, psychedelia and latin rhythms into their sound. The group released their first EP, The Declining Crasis Of Ditrysia, in November 2010 and their first full length concept album, Grietas de la Percepción, in July 2011. On September 16th 2012 The Glacial Drift released SER, a collaborative album with Viitriiol.
