Artist
Hopeless optimists from Horsham, United Kingdom who set out to achieve little and were wholly successful. The existence of the ill fated American band of the same name was unbeknownst to them until some years after they broke up. Firestation Records of Berlin released a compilation of their least worst tracks in June 2014. Formed by ex-members of Nigel The Impaler, Christine, Stair Party, Voice Of The Rain and The Jackalsons in 1988 the fluid line-up contained the core four of Robert Boole aka Dave Evans (guitar & tapes), Ben Evenden aka Ben E. Git (bass) and James Calderwood aka Jammie Git (vocals). They were augmented by Matthew Farmer aka Matt 'Guitar' Git (unknown), Chris Morris aka Chris T. (guitar) and Jason Cheater aka Jason 'Little' Git, the token short person (vocals) and anchored by Glen Sisela II, as their drum machine was known. The band went their separate ways in 1990 due to musical similarities. What information that remains about them can be found hereabouts.
