there seems to be more than one artist called "The Gimmicks". 1) are a 3-piece band from Reading United Kingdom. formed late 2006, They play a Pop punk rock esq style and to date the band have released a demo CD and an 4 track EP called "Stand in Line" The Gimmicks mainly play in and Around Reading as part of" RRR" prometed events. 2) was a punk-rock band from munich, germany in the early twentyfirst century. they played straight-forward punk, more on the funny side, with english lyrics. they recorded and released one album called "Metropolitan" in 2001. sometime in 2005 they started to sing in german and changed their name to Farbe5. 3) A swedish jazz/Latin group from the 70s!
